Well, we've had quite the time trying to figure out what our little Oddball is. I have it narrowed down to a Sicilian Buttercup, but now "she" is starting to feather out like a he. Here's a couple pics at thirteen weeks old...

    So, is it a rooster?

    Thanks,

    He sure is beautiful.

Could be a roo. Wait a couple weeks. Then you'll know.

Not sure on sex but he/she is a very pretty bird. The spot feather pattern is very cool.

Yes, it's a great looking bird. It's a bit smaller than all our Buff Orps pullets who are the same age. The spots are falling out and being replaced by the rust color, which looks more like the Buttercup roo pics I've seen on Google.

Quote:But I don't wanna wait... Just like I'm anxious for our first egg(s) even though there's prob'ly another six-or-seven weeks for that. [IMG]
