First off, I'm not a guy, but what is this behaviour my game hen is displaying??
I am unsure of her age, but found her as a young adult this summer (not fully mature). I took a long time introducing her to the young flock and she is very bonded to me and my husband.

Today I visited the coop. I reached down to pet her and she did something new. She crouched low to the ground, partially spread her wings and held really still while I stroked her back. She did this a couple more times today. Might I be expecting an egg sometime soon??? (hope I'm not the 'daddy' LOL)

LoL, she's posturing for you! I'd say you should be egg-specting eggs soon. [IMG]

LOL! I don't know whether to laugh or die of embarassment! Kind of startled me at first, I thought something was wrong with her! I guess she was lovesick
