I have five chicks who are 4 weeks old. After reading about scaly leg mites, I checked out their legs and now I'm a little suspicious that they might have it. It seems like the edges of the scales are slightly raised. I don't think they looked like this a week ago, but this is my first time raising chickens so I don't know if this is normal development or not. They have not been outside the brooder. Thank you for your input!
