Am I the only crazy chicken person picking weeds in the rain for my chickens every morning?

Just wanted to know, it will make me feel better while I am up picking weeds at 7 am..
(I throw them in the run every morning. Unfortunately I cant let my chickens roam due to stray dogs.)

I do it all the time. Sometimes I just stand out in the rain and watch them eat.

I pulled the weeds in the evening, and since we haven't seen 3 inches of rain for nearly a year, I WISH it would rain. Downside to this is that now my back yard is weed free and I have to look for weeds/grass elsewhere.....[IMG]

Well, as a good neighbor, you could offer to weed a little....[IMG]

My dh hates birds and chickens. One day he was sitting outside when I came outside to pick the dandelions. He told me that was the one thing he liked about chickens...he had never seen me pick weeds in 21 years. [IMG]
