This little deer was just so curious and calm. We named him Pongo. He made my day. Loren and I got as close as we could to him by crawling on our bellies. It was a cool bonding experience for he and I.

Wow! I miss deer. In Florida, deer are tiny and dumb. No fun to watch. I miss northern deer. Thanks for the pics!!!!!

very cool, it almost looks like they are having a conversation... something like...

deer: you are strange looking birds, what are you?
peas: well of course we are peafowl, but what are YOU?
deer: I'm a deer, and live in the forest.
peas: hmm, we live here on this farm. it's quite nice.
deer: that's great! ... well, I have to go now, nice to meet you.

Beautiful boy there. I have five in my yard every day. There were 2 last year and this year mama came back with twins. She also brought a friend and her baby. LOL

Great pics! Out here in the boonies we see deer in the fields, but never in our yard...you're so lucky! When my grandparents had thier house in CO, grandma would sit on the porch with her coffee and watch the Elk in her yard....I miss it!! [IMG]
