I noticed Cocoa limping and standing on one leg. One of her toes is all swollen. Any idea what could be wrong and how to treat it?

I kind of wondered. Any ideas what we need to do for her? I cleaned her feet and put ointment on it. We kept her inside for a half hour before I carried her back to the coop for the night.

Keep soaking her foot in warm epsom salt water (like half hour at a time), you might need to open it up but we'll see if that works.

She liked the floating treats but was not amused by her spa day (Epsom salt soak).

Bumblefoot in chickens is pretty simple to treat, not to fear. It’s only badly dangerous when you leave it and don’t try to help. Keep soaking her daily and see if it makes progress. You could also wrap her foot to insure she doesn’t hurt the bumble more. For my chickens, I spray the wound with poultry wound spray and then wrap the foot with a small piece of cotton ball on the pad of her foot, covered in wound spray. Its seeming to work well.
