I don't mind either way. The breeder said Ameracana but I know a lot call their EEs by that name. They were so pretty I couldn't resist. What do you think?

What color did the breeder say it was?

She didn't specify any color. They were the only kind there. I should have asked. :/

That leads me to believe they're not Ameraucana unless you're lucky. Since there are only 8 colors, breeders should keep the colors separated to breed them and keep them true.

I have some Blue Wheaten/Wheatens. Because I know that's the color I have, if I were advertising them or selling them, I would specify their color. I wouldn't just advertise them as "Ameraucanas". But, she could have just assumed you would look at them and see what color they are.

That said, I really only know about the wheatens, and yours seem blue or gray. Maybe in a couple of weeks, once they start feathering out and their legs show better color, you can tell more clearly.

    No matter what, they're cute!

They are fantastic. Great little personalities already. Thanks for the input everyone. I'll update with more pics in a few weeks to see if they are more identifiable. Like I said, it doesn't really matter, but it is fun to find out more about them.
