I will take and post better pictures tomorrow but I was wondering if I could get some help sexing my Ameracuana's. I know the Welsummers are hens ;-)

    Thanks in advance!

Close ups of the combs would help a lot. I see a blue pullet and one of the blacks looks like a cockerel. Closer comb shots would confirm.

Thanks! Tomorrow when the sun is out I will get better pictures. I was afraid that that black one would be a cockerel. why do I have to get so attached to the roos?!

Its kind of difficult to tell, and I am by no means an expert, but I would say that all of your Ameracaunas (spelling error?), except the last shy bluish-gray one, are males. I would recommend that you wait for some other peoples' opinions, though, before assuming that I am correct. I'm very sorry if you can't have any roosters, as they are all beautiful birds!

    They are beautiful.
I'm seeing all roo's too :/ . The wider redder combs, often of the pullets the combs are paler til POL with center ridges a bit more pronounced, leads me to think they're roo's.

Wow. This is heart breaking. at least I have one girl. My two beautiful white silkies I hatched from eggs turned out to both be roos.
