Hey all, I posted this in the is this a rooster thread, and one person said cockerel. I am thinking the same as this little one acts very "roostery" in a good way. Very friendly, and likes to "flirt" with me when I come outside, chirping, squatting down and tidbitting. Esther/Xerxes is about 6-7 weeks old now and I notice the comb starting to puff up, though not as much as those in other pictures I have seen. This little guy/girl is quite perplexing. I bought him/her from a small farm as a pullet, but I know that sexing isn't perfect and 12 out of the 12 other pullets I bought turned out accurate so it was bound to happen. Thankfully we can have roosters and I am not disappointed whatever the outcome. What are y'all's opinions? here he/she is:
