    These two are eight weeks old. I think chick one may be a boy and am pretty sure chick 2 is a girl. Thanks for your input.

    They both look like pullets to me... 8 weeks old, you say? Yeah, at 8 weeks they would have a heck of a lot more comb.

    Really? I may really, truly have 2 pullets there? That means that all 4 of the surviving chicks from Red's brood are girls! [​IMG]

    Look closely at the comb. Boys often have 3 rows of 'peas', girls a single row.

    Both pullets. I had an EE that turned out to be a boy and it was pretty apparent at 5-6 weeks that it was a he. His comb had three rows to it and it was getting big and red fast! Yours have very single small combs. They will get bigger right before they start to lay, so don't panic. That should be around 20ish weeks or so. Mine just started a couple of weeks ago at 24 weeks.
