ameraucana egg colors?

So I just got my chicks about 10 days ago. 14 in all. I got 3 of the ameraucanas and the store says their eggs can vary in colors.. My question is: if a chicken lays a blue egg will it lay that color of egg for the rest of it's life, or can the color of the egg they lay change to a different hue? Thanks.

They will lay the same egg color the rest of their lives...I get beautiful blue, olive green and pink eggs ;D

It is one of my americauna's...they lay such pretty eggs and they are big too. XL on my egg scale...

I can't wait for my Ameracauna girls to start laying! Years ago I had true Aracaunas that laid the most beautiful aqua and blue eggs. They were so large I had to rubberband the cartons closed when I took them to work for people who were buying them! I'm hoping I have a pink egg layer in my bunch.
