I have bunch of 6 weeks old ameraucanas. All breed I had so far were only straight comb, and ameraucanas have pea comb and I have no clue how to tell the gender difference in pea comb breed.
By what age can I tell boys and girls? What is the comb difference between boy and girls by what age?
I want to see how boys/girls develope combs differently, any input (or pictures) would be appreciated.

It works the same on pea comb breeds. When mine are about 6-8 weeks old the boys will have a redder comb and the girls will have the very small pale comb. I notice my girls will keep a flat comb for much longer and the boys will grow a comb. I have raised Araucanas, Easter Eggers and Olive Eggers. Works the same on them all.
