We are new to owning backyard chickens and we recently bought 6 pullets - two of them are Ameraucanas. We thought we had all hens but this morning we had one of them make a couple attempts at pathetic sounding "cockadoodle doo's"
I just read that this breed can make more noise than others and this can happen.
I'm not completely sure if it is a rooster and we are still hoping she is a hen...any feedback based on looks in these pictures or what characteristics we should be looking for would be much appreciated!
