Ameraucana or Easter Egger

    I bought four 'Ameraucana' hens from people who had raised them to laying age. I don't know where they got them from. I was wondering if you think they are Amer. or EE?

    Here is one that I got a good pic of. They all look very similar but I can take pics of the others if you want to see them too?

    first, i think the answer is always post more pictures. always.

    secondly, i am not expert, but i haven't seen an ameraucana that color - - my guess is an ee.

    The greenish egg here is from one of them, but not all of them are laying right now. I know it's not much help, just trying to post more pictures [​IMG]

    None of mine are any of those colors. They are all colored pretty much like the one above. Some have darker areas, like one has a darker tail, one has a darker head, but pretty much like that one.

    They are all Easter Eggers.

    I usually use this saying when dealing with the question - "If you have to ask, they're Easter Eggers".
