Ameraucana or EE? Roo or Hen?

    They are both same age but and from the same breeding pair supposedly. Guy told me they are Ameraucana. They look different in the face. What Breed and sex do you think they are? They are 17-18 weeks old.

    the one is clean faced, one possibly both appear to have single combs, one also appears to have green legs, and they are not an accepted color. Go to the ameraucana breeders website at www.ameraucana.org and you can learn more about the breed see pictures of all 8 accepted varieties, and even contact a breeder near you if you are interested in obtaining some true ameraucanas.

    Yup, EE pullets. I hope you didn't pay the price for an Ameraucana. They're not really expensive but pricier than other breeds.

    That's true. I would like an Ameraucana but EEs are fine for me.
