Ameraucana or Maran?

We recently aquired this rooster for free and the gentleman didn't have much information for us. We're fairly new to the chicken life and curious if he's a blue wheaten ameraucana or maybe a Maran of sorts?

He's a beauty! However, I don't believe he's either breed, due to pea comb and green legs....my guess is lovely Easter Egger.

He is an EE, and it looks as if he has a severe case of cross beak. Is he able to eat adequately?

He does have pretty bad cross beak so we've been been softening his food and leaving him in the coop with his own dish after the other birds have been let out for the day. I was reading an article earlier (thank GOODNESS for this site!) which informed me about trimming his beak, which I didn't know was possible, so we will be attempting to give him a clip today. I'll add more pictures later as he loves to be the center of attention!
