This little one just turned 4 weeks today. Can anyone tell if it's a pullet or Roo?
The single row comb, while a little pink, points to pullet - can you take a side shot of the bird in a natural, standing position (this can be accomplished by setting it on a surface like the floor or a table and shooting from the side).
does the single /double row comb way work with other breeds?
Generally speaking in pea combed birds/breeds a single comb is indicative of a pullet and three rows is indicative of a cockerel.
Thanks for the insight.
