Ameraucana?

Awe, now I’m upset too!

lol! You and me both! (At least, I think they're all boys!) They all have the red leakage, but I have two with dark gray heads where the red leakage is on their whole body, not just on the wings & back. With my 'lavendar', there's a faint red leakage on his whole body as well.

It's a guessing game...but I'm guessing they're going to be gorgeous boys, which is a shame, because I already have a gorgeous easter egger!

Speaking of Ameraucanas that might be Easter Eggers... do you guys know what these gals are? I was told by TSC that they were Ameraucanas and one lays blue eggs, the rest lay green.

Hahaha, I was figuring so. I love them and they are beautiful but now I am curious how you can identify real Ameraucanas?

Agreed those are EE.
True ameraucana have slate blue legs and come in specific colors. Very few hatcheries sell them, and the feed stores never.

I should add that the Lavender and Splash colors that you can buy are also true ameraucana (if their breeding is right), but are technically a project color as they aren't recognized by the breed standard.
