Alright, I newish to the chicken world.[IMG]

    I'm confused about a couple of things.[IMG]

The Araucana is the bird with the ear tufts, from south america.Noted for laying blue eggs. Right?

The Ameraucana is a seperate breed than the Araucana, but derives from it. Also lays blue/green eggs. Right?

So, are both of these breeds considered EE's? Or is an EE just a mutt breed that happens to lay blue green eggs?

From pictures I have seen, I can clearly tell the araucana, but Ameraucanas and EE's look exactly the same.[IMG]

Please help clerify all this fro me!
