The feed store sign said Ameraucana. Was told they were NOT EE's.

Out of the 3, this one has a black spot on its head. Can you tell me if it is an Ameraucana or EE? Too soon to tell?

These are the other two we got from the hatchery. Same time.

I don't mine either one....I just don't want to introduce them by the wrong name.

What color are the legs and skin? Skin should be white and the legs grayish for Ameraucana. The price you paid can be another clue. It does look like my EE though.

They are EEs but still adorable! You won't be disappointed with them, I've had several and know others that have/had them, egg colors vary and like Easter, it's fun. The only way you know you're getting a true AM/Ameraucana is from a reputable breeder.

We paid $4 for each one. We originally wanted EE's so not disappointment here! I just wanted to know what we had.

    Thanks everyone for replying!
