These are chicks I bought in April. They told me they were called Americauna hens or also called Easter egg chickens. They started laying a few weeks ago, various colored eggs. Beige, light pink, yellow and various shades of blue and green. They are very timid birds compared to my golden sex link and black sex links. I just love the little tuffs of feathers around their ears.Although I only bought five, they are different shades of colors. Two resemble our Eastern grey owls with marbled shades of greys. the other three are red/brown and darker heads. They seem to be loners staying close with each other. I have two coupes, one for the laying chickens and another for my ducks and turkeys. These little ladies keep sneaking into the duck yard. I've gotten tired of putting them back and left them with the ducks and turkeys, they all seem to get along..
