Gary Underwood, Illinois, of Rhode Island Red fame and son of the late, great Red breeder George Underwood, has been working on his own bantam creation for a number of years. He is calling it the American Salmon. Same coloring as the Salmon Faverolles, but without the extra toes and minus muffs and beard. Type differences as well. He has written a proposed Standard, and would now like to contact other breeders willing to help raise and promote them. He has free breeding stock available, but shipping if required must be paid by the recipient. I'm just posting for Gary and have no other involvement. Anyone interested may contact Gary at [email protected] , or just call him at (815) 947-2359. Here are a couple of photos.
