Demeter just turned 8 weeks today, and has none of the characteristic behavior of a roo, but has some questionable feathers. I am sorry I do not have a head on shot of his/her comb.

What do you think, cockerel or pullet? Thanks for your help.

hmmmm - that's a tough one - sure has a teeny tiny pale comb - but I think I can almost see saddle feathers.....

Of the 5 EE's I received, this is the only one with fuzzy feathers remaining - all the others, including the other breeds, are now fully feathered. The others are also gorgeous, and this one is a bit on the homely side. If he is indeed a he, and remains as docile as he is, then I will be happy to keep him, but I am pretty sure I have other roos among the flock and one of them clearly runs the show.
