Americauna ir something else?

    Hey all,
    We just welcomed 3 new lil girls, this gorgeous brown one was told by us by the people at the grain store to be an amercauna.I have an amercauna hen and when she was this little she was alot lighter, never seen one with theses colors.Was wondering what thoughts are of breed and if anyone had a chick looking like this,perhaps you can share a post of what yours looks like as a hen.Thanks!!![​IMG]

    If purchased at a feed store, you've got an Easter Egger. There are only a handful of hatcheries with true Ameraucana, and they are always sold with a color variety specified and cost a lot more than the average chick.

    She looks like she could be an Easter egger. They come in all different colors, that's part of their appeal [​IMG]. Plus, it makes them easy to tell apart.
