This chicken is a little over two months old. It was sold to me as an Americauna pullet. I'm thinking that the tail feathers are looking really long. Might be just disporportional, but others I've seen have very short tails at this age.

Between 8 and 12 weeks old, they molt their tails, which can make a pullet's tail look a bit like a roosters. True male feathering doesn't even begin to develop until about 10 weeks old.
Your bird is an Easter Egger, not true Ameraucana. Most definitely a pullet.

X2 on junebuggena's post; Easter Egger pullet.)

I'm trying to figure out if my Americauna - Daphne is a pullet or roo. It's 8 weeks old today.
