    This is Pat : )
When we got Pat we were told "it" was an Americuana.
We aren't really sure what gender Pat is?
    Could anyone help us out?

that is an EE not an americauna. common mistake. purebred americaunas and arucaunas are available from breeders only, the hatchery version is actually a mutt called and Easter Egger (EE). he is a rooster. pretty boy [IMG]

Looks like a very handsome EE (Easter Egger) cockeral. Most hatcheries and feed store sell EEs as Americaunas, just a weird quirk.

He's really a nice looking bird, can you keep a rooster? If you can, post a full body side shot, can't see his tail or legs.

Yes Pat is our pretty boy of the bunch! He is very shy and doesn't really like being around the other boys they are mean to him. [IMG]
    He is about 10weeks old.

It may just be me but he looks older than 10 weeks old. His hackles are extremely intense and well developed already. What a lovely EE boy.
