This one hatched 6.5 weeks ago. I haven't had this type before, so I wondered if anyone could offer some insight? Thank you in advance for your help!

Here it is with my BCM cockerel. They both hatched the same day.

What is an ameriflower?
It is what My Pet Chicken calls a "designer" cross. This is their description:
Selected for extreme hardiness, for egg color, large egg size, and for their gorgeous feathering.(Due to breed genetics, ninety-four percent of Ameriflowers will lay a blue-green egg, and the remaining six percent will lay a light brown egg.) Plumage will vary, but will often be blue or have a blue undercoat beneath glossy coppery feathers--some speckled--and often fluffy faces with small crests and feathered legs, too.

i hope you got other ameriflowers!!! i want to see those blue-green eggs! they are on my list of dream chickens!
No, unfortunately. The other Ameriflower egg didn't hatch. They were from an intense color egg dozen. If I decide to keep him, though, I have a cuckoo bluebar pullet that will lay blue eggs. That pairing might result in some pullets that lay blue/green, maybe?
