how much feed should 29 chickens eat a week

In Gail Damerow's book she says that a hen will eat about a third of a pound of feed per day.

29 hens x .33 pounds x 7 days=66.99 pounds

Of course this is just a rough estimate. Big hens eat more than smaller hens, free range hens eat less feed than caged hens, laying hens eat more than hens that aren't laying, etc.
