I'm wanting to add a second hygrometer to my incubator to have a back up to check against. I've seen several kinds of amphibian/reptile ones for sale on eBay. Considering that these animals live in a moist environment, I think they'd work okay in an incubator. Has anyone ever used one of these for that purpose?

I've seen both on eBay. I think I'll try Petsmart next time I'm down that way to save on the postage. Some of those people charge way too much for an itty bitty item. [IMG]

The digitals are starting between .99 - 2.50 in auctions, but $19.99 BIN. The gauges are 3.69 - 5.99 BIN.

we paid 8 a piece for the guages at the petstore. the digitals were 20 for the thermometers and the hygroms they where out of.
