Our First! Finally. Im sure it came from our EE "owl". Now all 4 of us get to fight over 1 egg. I put it in with a carton of large grocery eggs for comparison. She also layed it in the nest box with all the golf balls. Dh was so excited he dropped his phone in the coop while trying to call me.

Right about 27 weeks today. We did put in battery operated led lights about 2 weeks ago that add about 4 hours of light. So I don't know if it was nature taking it's course or the light.

One thing I found amazing - when I crack a brown egg & look at the INSIDE of the shell, it is a pale pink/white but inside the green egg shell, it is has a blue hue to it! Quite amazing!
