You are buried in eggs huh? I would love to try some of the quail eggs if I can get an incubator set up pretty quickly. Any ideas? I'm in VA too so hopefully shipping won't be much....

These take 16 days. They are jumbo coturnix. The parent stock came from Sam when he had jumbo coturnix last year. Probably about $5 - 6 shipping depending on the size box I can pack them in.

WOW I was just looking at your bator setup! Nice work ! How long do you think your quail will lay? I'm gonna get busy making one this weekend but with 2 kids 2 dogs chickens in the coop and babies in the brooder it might take me a while [IMG] .We're in Bedford county by the way, beautiful country here in VA.

If they lay like they are supposed to lay they will be laying until October.

OK I'm going to get started on my own bator ASAP. Is it OK to PM you when I get everything ready? We had a covey of 45-50 wild bobwhites(I think) out here 2 or 3 years back and I just loved watching them , but the red tailed hawks pretty much wiped them out. I'm so excited !

I'd love to test hatch quail eggs if you've got enough-- let me know!
