I've seen Aunt Sally's poo page, so I understand there can be a great variety in normal poo. But I've been watching my birds because I'm worried about blackhead due to the death of a turkey 6 weeks ago who had a spotted liver .
So, yesterday morning I photographed a bunch of the poos in the poultry yard (link to poo pics here) . The poo I am most concerned about is the first one with the bright yellow urates. The foamy mustard colored ones have me wondering, and I wonder if it's normal to have runny/smushed poops everyday.
The birds eat a variety of things, and are now cleaning up the vegetable garden, so I think some of the variety of color is explained by that. I've also been feeding them a bunch of cayenne, which probably affects the poo as well.
For those of you who have dealt with blackhead and/or cecal worms (or other worms), do any of the poos look like blackhead? Worms?
