Well my accidental rooster acquisition has turned into a flock saver!

I bought 11 hens to add to my existing 4 silkies and the tiniest one turned out to be a "he" well he's five months old and attacked a fox! The back fence broke and Mr Fox got in (he got one hen :( ) but I heard a ruckus, found all the hens hiding in the coop and Ancalagon going at it with the Fox! I showed him off and fixed the fence... But if it hadn't been for the roo I would have lost more. Three cheers for him. And if I get any problems with neighbours when he crows... They can get lost lol

    Plus I think he's gawjuss...

He is only 5 months old, and his comb isn't full sized yet [IMG]

He is so handsome and fearless at only 5 months old. What a happy accident and addition to the flock he is.
