    Congrats on the chick! I'm sure there's plenty of people (including myself) that may have made the same mistake :) I would love to see pictures later if you're willing to share.

    If you'd get normal chickens this type of stuff would not happen. But no, not going to happen.

    I doubt if Keith even raised an eyebrow over this. He should be used to this type of stuff by now. He always has been good in an emergency, even when it is in someone’s head.

    Good to hear from you, Lady, and good to hear you are still having adventures. I’d never heard of Breda’s until this post. White eggs, feathered legs, and no comb. Not what I’m looking for but they should be interesting. Good luck on the rest of your hatch

    More breda eggs in the incubator and as soon as I can get Widget to cooperate, more cochins too. Bring on the feather footies [​IMG]
