Yesterday we picked up our first chicks, three buff orpingtons. Spent yesterday being concerned it was too hot, too cold, they weren't eating enough, weren't drinking enough and generally overthinking and worrying! They're freaking adorable

I hope someone told you that unless you have a rooster Orpingtons do not lay eggs besides the occasional pullet egg! Luckily you should be able to easily find a rooster.

No roosters allowed per the township. So it'll just be the girls
