This is Blue Lou at two weeks old

No question he was a roo...but he did seem to be maturing quickly

Here is Blue Lou today at 2 months old...

This morning I woke up to the sound of the usually rooster crowing (I have 4 adults) but in between was something that sounded a little like a baby wail. So I went outside and saw Blue Lou perched as high as he could get proudly crowing as loud as he could. Oh boy am I in trouble.

Blue Lou is absolutely beautiful, and I LOVE that first pic - made me laugh out loud.

I have two roos I am waiting for crowing from - and they are 21 weeks old!!! The third just started crowing last week - maybe they're all just late bloomers.

Luckily, my neighbor (far enough away so it isn't too loud) loves to hear the crowing - she wants chickens really badly.

    Peace -
    Meriah

    Thank you everyone. [IMG]

Breed: Got him from MM so not 100% sure but am fairly certain he's a Blue Andalusian. Everyone on the board has agreed so far.

I can't believe you have a neighbor that actually LOVES crowing! Aren't you lucky! Does she even love it at 4am? [IMG]
