A friend of mine who I got my two mixed bantam babies from has decided to get rid of her flock due to her and her husbands health issues and she was tired of hawks taking them. So I agreed to take 4 as I could only afford a cheap quarantine coop which is small. So me and the bf went to pick up 4 of her flock of 11 and he ended up wanting to take 5. Although now he’s talking about going back to pick up the rest of the hens and the rooster so we’ll see what happens. In the meantime meet my new girls.

And shadow

I haven’t decided if I’m going to rename them yet. I’m gonna give it some time and see their personalities first and let them finish their molts to see if they look like a diff name.

T-Rex looks like a Black Breasted Red Phoenix. @LowLady did you adopt the rest of that flock?
Yes I’ve decided to take them all just haven’t moved them here yet. I’m thinking in another week or two. My friend is ok with holding them for me as she’d rather the flock remain together then send them to agway. So what started as a rescue of 3 hens will be a flock of 17
