A BIG WHOOO-RAY for Boerne, Texas for having enough commen sense to know that chickens are to some as important as dogs are to others.

I could not open the article, but hooray! I never did understand why chickens, especially if only hens, are not allowed in some places. I have been lucky to have always lived in places where I could have chickens, since the 60's! Well a couple of times I did live in town, and did not have chickens but was unaware if I was able to or not. Besides roosters crowing, why are hens banned?
