Our coop is built inside the garage, against an existing wall. The floor, at the moment, is just the garage floor, which is smooth cement. I was just going to cover this with either shavings or hay. We live in Oregon's Willamette Valley, where it never gets that cold. I am wondering if the cement is going to be ok for them. It will be pretty easy to clean, is the nice thing. As long as we have the shavings on it, it won't hurt them, will it?

A cement floor will be just fine. I would love to have a cement floor in my coop! [IMG]
