Another EE Gender guess/help.

    Looking at some of the recent posts here about EEs makes me wonder about one of out EEs. I'm starting to think it is a rooster. At first I thought she was a "bossy" sister, kind of like my own sister.[​IMG]
    Take a look and tell me what you think. He/She is approx. 8 weeks old.

    I had two white/black EE's two years ago and they both were pullets. Yours remind me of a roo though. My two had nowhere near the red in their comb at that age. That tail looks male!

    Im going to say roo. His tail feathers look rooish and his comb is getting really red. He is beautiful. [​IMG]

    Roo. When you can see three rows of bumps in a pea comb, as we can see on your EE, the bird is a roo. I don't judge by how red the combs are on white/black EEs as I find that both male and female EEs with that coloring tend to be more red than EEs of other colors---sort of like some fair skinned people. But the three rowed comb says roo.
