Another egg yippee

Found another egg today but unfortunatly it was broken and the shell was really thin almost like rubber, is this normal. One of my other chickens is laying every few days and her last 2 eggs were double yolks now I Just need to find out who layed it.

If you aren't already doing so, start providing crushed oyster shell free choice. I keep an empty tuna can nailed to an inner wall of the coop FULL of oyster shell.

Early layers still have to get their equipment all synchronized and operating properly; some oddities are normal with young layers. They'll get things sorted out before too long.
