I've been playing with the Chicken Calculator --

It appears to indicate that buff chickens are homozygous for the Columbian trait. Is this correct?
Because of this trait, it also indicates that breeding a salmon roo with a buff hen will produce an assortment of Columbian-patterned offspring -- and likewise breeding a buff roo with a blue wheaten hen will also produce a variety of Columbian-patterned birds. Is this correct?
If so, I'm stoked. I've got bantam araucanas in all these colors, and I'm quite fond of the buff Columbian pattern.
Buff Columbian araucanas, anyone?
