The top pictures are my two buff Brahmas. Any guesses as to gender? I was told the roos had more black on their backs, but these guys act like boys.

This is Hannabal, so named because he likes to bite your fingers!

    Huck, Hannabal's brother/sister?

Bama, my designer chicken - Daddy was a Jersey Giant, Momma was a Light Brahma.

Jersey Giant - hes or shes? Acts like a hen, but has a larger comb than the other. The other is smaller but has a longer tail. I'm so confused!

    First two pic same bird.

    This is brother (or sister).

They all look like girls to me- but the buff brahmas sure have thick legs! I think brahmas are just harder to sex with those big fluffy butts.

Huck & Hannibal are cockerels; Bama is a pullet. I'm not sure on the jerseys, but I think you have a pair.

Huck is 100% cockerel, Hannibal about 75%. Bama is 100% pullet.

They're cute [IMG] I think you'll be expecting chicks soon if you DO have a rooster! [IMG] [IMG]

I think Huck's a boy, because of that curved tail feather and the legs. Not sure about Hannabal or Bama. The JGs both look like girls.
