My cousin Brian (31 years old) has been battling Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma for a few months now. He was taking chemo and was doing ok, but the chemo knocked his blood count down quite a bit. Because of this, he became septic (infection in his blood) and his whole body began shutting down. They put him into ICU and put him on a BIPAP machine to ease the stress on his circulatory and respiratory system. During the night, however, he coded. They did get him back, and he is now on the ventilator. There is no way to know the amount of brain damage, as he is in a chemical coma. His mother and his sister are here in Iowa, and he is in California. They are not able to get to him at the moment, because of the Holidays and the outrageous prices of airfare. He has a wife and two children, one 5 and one just over a year old. Please keep Brian and his family in your prayers, we really need a Christmas miracle.
