Another really odd poop I don’t see on the charts

Last week I saw a possible lice ( yes, just one ) on Friday I found a roundworm. (Yup, just one) On Sunday. I dusted the coop with permethrin. On Monday I gave each and every chicken a dose of Valbazen and dusted them too. Now, 2 days later, I found weird “bloody?” chunks. Not a chunk with blood on it. And not exactly bloody. More “ blood colored” chunk. Is this a meat chunk? A dead worm chunk? A mass of dead worm eggs? It’s kinda jellyish.

That appears to be intestinal lining. It's not enough to present a problem and may be within the normal realm if this chicken had worms.

Louse is the singular of lice, by the way.

Thank you. I was hoping it was something like that but I had expected intestinal lining to only look like blood.
And… doh! Dummy me. I do know the singular “louse”! I’m gonna throw myself under the bus and claim a senior moment.

No need to throw yourself under a speeding vehicle. "Louse" is usually reserved to denote a particularly repulsive human male.
