Another rousing round of Who Laid This Egg.

I have two culprits for this first time XS egg (39g). First is a jersey giant. Her comb and waggled are the reddest in the whole flock. The second is a Swedish flower x blue Orpington cross that isn't as red, but has been squatting for weeks. This egg seems pretty dark for either breed...so what do you think?

Probably your jersey...they'll lay eggs from dark brown to almost cream, and sometimes even speckled.

You are right! The next day the other girl laid to confirm the tiny dark brown eggs are from our jersey.
