I know. I know. The only surefire way to know is wait until they lay or crow. Since these are nonbearded, I'm hoping it's a little easier. I'm new to silkies, and a few of them I have a really good idea about. We have two groups. One group is 19 weeks, the other just hit 5 months old today.

First one is definitely a roo, third or fourth might be(cannot tell but their hair are combs look suspicious for those two) Unsure on the others but that first one is undeniably a rooster- my silkie roo made himself obvious like that as well

That was him at about three months old I think

I figured the first one was. The last one with the bright red comb and wattle I'm 99% sure is too. There's 6 in total. I'm thinking only one is a hen (the second pic). We had a 7th, but he crowed about a week ago. Yours is beautiful 🥰

Update! The one with the bright red wattle and comb in the last picture was moved to a separate flock last night, and is now crowing!

First one just crowed this morning as well as the one I suspected in the last one!
