I'm looking for a Silver Seabright hen (pullet or hen) and some other bantams for sale in NC, (Charlotte area) and I was told by someone I meet at the Morganton (NC) show about another place, (I'm not sure if she was talking about a website or a magazine) where most farmers and back yard poultry owner advertise their chickens for sale. Any idea? Thank you.

I don't remember the exact name, but isn't there something called farm ads? Farm something? I'll look around.

I sold chicks on ebay classifieds (used to be Kijiji). For NY right now it seems to be mostly horses and goats, but someone DID see my chicks when I tried it. Plus it's a little less picky than CL (I have to word my ads carefully on CL to avoid getting ghosted or flagged).

Quote:Thank you poultrycrazy [IMG] , but I was hoping to find a grown chicken (pullet or hen) . I will keep checking.

WoodlandWoman-yes that's what I was thinking about, a farmers ad. [IMG]
