Oh my goodness, I hope its over soon! We had a tornado a few weeks ago that took out my privacy fence but the chicken tractor was not touched. I hope you have no damage...

Well heres An update . after what seemed like hours of wind hail 80 mph wind and Sheets of rain I have recovered what i could of my flock. I have several injured birds including one who is completely bald from beig tumbled over and over in the fence while the winds pressed him against it. 2 broiler pens made from pvc and tarps are history one is no where to be found and the other didnt hold the weight of the rains. I got about 50 of the birds Under heat they seemed lifeless just standing or laying in the yard.
All the big birds are ok it was mostly my Jersey giants and Cornish cross birds affected. there to dumb to find shelter i assume.
With that being said everything is calm here on the homestead and the Lord Let us know we were ok by offering up these beautiful photos [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

I'm glad your safe, I am very sorry that some of your birds didn't make it. I just cannot imagine living through a tornado. [IMG] I live in Maine and tornados are very rare here. I wish you all the best. Stay safe.
