Yesterday I found a paper-thin eggshell under my roosts with a splotch of yolk/white near it. I'm guessing it was from one of the two young pullets that haven't been laying yet but have no idea which one.
Now the anticipation of trying to find out which one is getting ready to lay is just killing me!
My other theory is that it's from one of the older RIRs that hasn't been laying for us (they are still pretty new to the flock... I think that this is our third week with them) who seems to be in the process of molting.
